When you use our service to log saddles, bridles, boots, gear, track training sessions, and receive smart maintenance alerts, you trust us with your personal information. We collect two categories of information when you use Brare:

• Photos you upload to document your equipment and wear patterns
• Training session logs, wear tracking data, and any other personal content you add to your vault
• Communication data if you reach out to our support team for help

Automatically Collected Usage Information

We collect basic non-personal usage data to improve our service, including app interaction patterns, device type, and general location data. This helps us optimize our smart maintenance alert system and fix performance issues.

We only use your information to deliver and improve the Brare service you expect, specifically:

• Maintain your personal equipment vault and sync your data across your devices
• Generate personalized smart maintenance alerts based on your training logs and wear patterns to keep your competition-ready
• Improve our recommendation and alert algorithms to better serve equestrian community needs
• Troubleshoot technical issues and respond to your support requests
• Protect the security and integrity of our service

We never use your personal equipment data for unrelated third-party advertising without your explicit consent.

Your vault is your personal storage space. We use industry-standard encryption protocols to protect your data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction. We retain your data for as long as you maintain an active account with us. If you choose to delete your account, we will permanently delete all your personal content within 30 days.

While we take all reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of digital storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal identifiable information with third parties except in the following limited circumstances:

• With trusted service providers who help us operate Brare (such as cloud storage providers and payment processors), who are only permitted to process your data per our instructions

Brare is not intended for use by individuals under the minimum age of digital consent in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect or maintain personal information from underage users.

We may update this privacy policy periodically to reflect changes to our practices or service features. When we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and notify active users via in-app notification or email. Your continued use of Brare after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
